Which is more dangerous: Normal/Switch Cork 5s or Backflips

I know that backflips are probably easier. However, going going straight over your head seems like there is more room for a bad injury opposed to going in a slight axis. Opinions/Advice?

the amount of time that you are actually at risk during a backflip is about a few milliseconds. The only reason people get hurt doing a single backflip is because they don't commit and get stuck in the air.

Flips have the increased chances of spinal injuries when things go wrong.
Cork 540s are harder, but your can really personalize them. Switch cork 5 is a dope feeling.
