Replying to Are you superstitious about calling "last run"

I've never been very superstitious, but have always had homies who have been pretty anal about never calling last run, so I started to get into the habit, saying "two more, skip the last". Two weeks ago, I was ripping with a new group of homies, and they were all calling last run. On that run, I ate shit, and put my hip into a rock that was sticking outta the snow. Couldn't walk for a few days, and took a week off. Last Wednesday was my first day back on snow, and it was going good, until another one of the homies called last run. Well, I ended up overshooting, and landed on my head, knocking myself out, and mangling my head. So one bruised hip, and one concussion later, I'm wondering if there's some value in not calling last run. Or, maybe I'm just a dumbass.
