Rotation tips

Howdy amobeas, I'm looking for some help. I'm a decent skier, can go all over the mountain etc and I'm looking to take my park skiing to the next level. I've done 1s and a handful of 3s but I'm definitely not comfortable doing them. This includes rotating onto boxes and such.
Just looking for some advice when it comes to said rotations. I know one thing I was doing was using too much shoulder and not enough hip when launching the spin. Anyone got any other suggestions?

Turn w head and not shoulders and just be comfy on jumps/in the air. Tramp helps

practice doing 180s, 360, 540s on flat ground in your shoes or boots. I could barely do pencil 3s but i learned all way 540s and even 720s on the ground and now i have no problem spinning

Good advice above. Another good piece of advice, commit. Know what you are doing before coming to the jump, visualize yourself spinning and landing. Dont talk yourself out of it.

Using your head to rotate is dogshit advice. Set should come from your chest and shoulders. If anything keep your head foreword til the rest of your body is around 45-90º

Just jump off shit without skis. Sounds stupid but I’ll jump off some stairs and spin. You’ll get it down and it should come naturally.

Helped me with landings I always would land off balance or on one foot, got it down this way

You can do a 720 jump flat from the ground? That’s some skill
