shedddAt momentum camps, many of the mogul coaches were using id1 skis; I think they're less forgiving than the twisters, but a more appropriate comp ski. http://www.idoneusa.com/Mogul-Ski-MR-G1-Blue-p/mrg1.htm
sarcIt seems like pro skiers choose something a little different than everyone else for both moguls and park. In both cases shorter narrower and stiffer for smilar reasons, weight reduction while retaining pop and landability of airs.
They don't care much about float or carvability, because piddling around the hill isn't required.
Sounds like mogul skiers go even narrower and shorter to fit into the troughs....
So for the rest of us, short snd narrow as we can stand, and maybe use a little rocker to prevent hangups. Flex is a tough one, stiffer and we can use the tips to show down like pros, softer easier to fit into the troughs.
