tomPietrowskiA boot fitter should be worrying about the fit of the shell to your foot not how it feels to you standing in a shop. If a boot is too big in the shell then yes once they pack out which all boots will they may not fit well. But if they shell fits your foot well even once they pack out they should still fit ok because the shell fits your foot.
But I would not worry about they packing out too quick. We ski Salomon's a bit to bench mark and we actually rate those liners pretty highly.
