Candide 2.0 mount point

Depending what length you have, look at the BMP for your ski. That's rec. Decide to yourself if that's too far back, measure on your own skis and stand on that spot. If it too far, move it forward a cm or two. youll be skiing in front of the sidecut the more you move forward but lots of people don't mind that, including myself. just dont go wack and ski more than a +3/4 from rec, else you should be looking at a different ski with a more centered design (in my opinion, again lots of people ignore this)

Looks like rec is 3.4cms back from true, so true center won't be trash for ski feel, but you wont be doing yourself too many all-mountain favors by mounting there.

Go -1 or 2 from center you won't notice the difference from the center mount and they'll ski better.

I mounted my candides from a few years back at the "Candide" mount point that they marked. I forget where it was exactly but they skied great there. There is an other mount point further back. My dad mounted his there and when I skied them the didn't spin as well, but charged better (no surprise but the ski felt very different).

for just a few bucks more get some attack 13, the 2 din difference may not seem like a lot, but you are buying a MUCH more durable, and better binding

If you must mount squires maybe mount those at center so when the blow up you can mount attacks on the Candide line.

squires arent my only choice but it is going to be a marker binding. Im a light kid and I've never had problems with marker bindings and I've been skiing marker free 10s for the past 4 years, i might go with jesters or griffons im not sure.

But imagine how sexy the red attacks would be. They're like the same cost as griffons

red 2020 jesters look good on the 2021 CT 2.0 thats what I have on mine

If you have the 21 Black/red stripe CT 2.0 then the Red Attack 13 is a great choice and easy to find on Amazon for $149.99 US with the correct 95mm brake. Black/Red Griffon a decent 2nd choice but more expensive than Attack 13s are currently selling for.

The CT line would also be perfect for your “mostly all mountain with some park” use.
