Question tho will I be cool with pivots at a smaller din? The shop I usually go to puts me at a 10 din, but they didn’t have forza pivots so I went elsewhere.

same height weight skill level etc. they put me at a 8.5 din. Is it easy to crank if I have to?

Do you have a screw driver? If yes, then it will be easy. If no, be an adult and buy some basic tools.

Yeah you just screw the screw on the front of the toe piece and the top of the heel piece, just don’t crank the dins much further than they should be for your knee’s sake

To be honest, it makes me nervous when people ask how to adjust din. I feel like if you don't know how to adjust din, then you most likely lack a fundamental understanding of it and probably should ski recommended until you're popping out all the time, which I doubt you will be.

If you have to ask how to adjust them then it is probably a bad idea to adjust them yourself.

I get that but I’ve had issues popping out at 9 on markers before, that’s why my other shop just puts it at 10 for me. But I just ask cause I know pivots are less prone to pre releases, so I’ll try 8.5 and just go up .5 increments if I do have that issue

The whole point kinda is that the shop can't legally just put your bindings at whatever you want them too. They have to set them at recommended, going up half numbers is probably the best idea, just don't go crazy with it. Not worth it, I'm sure plenty of ppl here can attest to that haha

Try skiing them @ 8.5 and see if you release more than you would like; it's pretty amazing to me how hard I can ski a pivot on 8 without popping out (I do need to go to about 9 if I'm buttering(heel release), or trying to spin fast(toe release), or higher if doing something sketchy where I don't want them popping off, but I weigh 175lb).
