Now, since you all are down-voting me when i only said it helps to consider different perspectives, without throwing around "racism" like the other goon did - i think i dont mind inviting some further hatred from you since that attitude is already set in stone
Consider this video and reporting, im sure you probably have heard- a Dutch reporter being dragged away by CCP goons on air. Evil CCP with no press freedom assaulting reporters, right?

But if you can understand the Chinese words that are being said in the video, it paints a completely different picture. The goon (poorly trained "safety volunteer") was saying, move a little further along, bro. Just a little further. So the police directed them to leave the traffic-controlled area and pointed a direction, but apparently they didn't move far enough. Or the police didn't point out the "allowed" location clear enough earlier. In any case the "safety volunteer" shouldn't have removed the reporter physically unless there was an emergency, which there was not. Poorly trained goon and an misunderstanding. Not some sinister CCP ploy. But anyone watching American news wouldn't know that the slightest.
Back to human-rights violations - did you know that China ended extrajudicial "reform thru labor" policies in 2013? These were brutal policies of extrajudicial imprisonment labor and indoctrination, exactly like what's done to the Uyghurs, but enacted throughout China. (They brought that back only in the Uyghur region in 2017). English language media didnt report that. Thats some progress, at least. I thought Western human-rights campaigners would've cared. Apparently not.
Or that they announced they banned organ "donation" from death-row inmates in 2014? Also a progress, but not report by MSM. Some even say organ-havesting continues to this day. But according to my Chinese associates, the organ waiting list has become very long in recent years so there's evidence of discontinuation or a significant reduction in the practice.
So you see, how the selective reporting - omitting the good, theprogress, exaggerating the bad - coupled with official rhetoric against "China", and not specifying the Chinese government, can be somewhat off-putting to people who do speak Chinese and have a personal connection to the culture and relatives/friends/acquaintances there.
