How do you stay entertained?

-Boosting off rollers and side hits is always classic
-Skiing on one foot comes with many benefits
-Working on form and carving skills
-Obligatory getting drunk/high but I'm not looking for this answer
-Playing the weave game with jerries

So. Quick story. One time at Breck back in06 I was waaaasted and had to piss. So I popped switch and whipped out the wizz dragon and started pissing. In theory. Genius. But I forgot about the Venturi effect and the air turbulence sprayed my piss all over my legs and feet ..... And like broad daylight. Family's everywhere..

Is it suicide to try butters on a directional ski like the wrens (they're really more flexible than you would think)? Busting out the kartel/Jeff 108's for these days is kinda excessive and not as satisfying

For people that have a learning curve it's hard asf. Lots of people can both snowboard and skate proficiently, and they take right to it and are ripping by their third time out

I can skate and longboard. I just can't get stable turns down worth a shit

All pressure on the front foot.
Drop your back knee in so it touches the calf on your front leg.
Rudder your back foot around so your speed checks point 45 degrees each turn.

Guarantee this is the problem. I grew up surfing and skating. When I tried to learn how to snowboard I didn't know to pressure the front foot at first. Mistakes were made.

"The invisible girlfriend" might help. When you feel like your balance is stretched thin, touch your belly button with one hand, and outstretched the other like your wrapping your arm around "the invisible girlfriend". Kinda like what belly dancers do to separate their body

You need 3 people
A phone
Wireless ear buds

2 people take one ear bud a piece then the other person takes the phone and turns music on. Start skiing and try to keep the ear buds connected to the phone the entire time. First person to disconnect loses.

Tried this last year. Had a kid snap his femur flying off a Catrack.

Last day of last season. Can't say he was "lucky" but he was a instructor so at least he wasn't out of work.
