Replying to Dedicated park/fun ski recommendations?
Im having a hard time deciding what to get for a new park ski. Spent last year on my 186 jeffrey 108's, used them for my do everything ski, and they do pretty damn well in the park, but just a bit too much ski to really whip around, slow speed butter, etc. and on days when im lapping the park all day id rather not be beating on those.
I typically like a little wider park ski, i feel like 95-102 had been my sweet spot, and a decent rocker. And i like a ski thats easy to flex, as in easy to get into butters with little effort, but not be total noodles that just fold. they dont need to be great for massive jumps, I might hit legit very big 50+ ft park jumps a few times a year. mostly spend my time on medium sized jumps, side hits, knuckle fun, and lots of slow weird butters, and a lot of all mountain jibbing to and from the park.
The armada stranger looks really appealing, the only thing i dont like is that its designed as more traditional mount fun all mountain cruiser type ski. but it looks fun as hell as a more center mounted park ski.
Also looking at the reckoner 102, blend, el toro, frankenski. I feel like theres probably something else out there im not thinking of or that I dont know exists that would be a perfect fit.
any ideas?
