I’d just like to know some of your personal reasons for riding with the bar up
for me? I like to keep the bar down so I can lean and chillax on it

HypeBeastIf it's a pow day and that chair is slippery, idgaf, the bar is going down. Otherwise I don't care. Just say you're doing it so us tall folk don't get a concussion.
I've noticed people in Colorado tend to use the bar the least versus Vermont nearly everyone does but I think it's a law in VT.
I like the foot rests usually. Or the chairs that have trail maps.
SuspiciousFishBack in the day we never put the bar down and kind of made a thing about it. It sounds dumb now but It kind of differentiated the core skiers from the tourists. I think part of it was most of the expert terrain was serviced by sketchy double lifts like Snow Ghost and putting the bar down was a way of showing you couldnt handle that lift and the terrain it serviced.

BraybladeSlowly sliding off the seats of Snow Ghost when its a storm day and you are right over the part where its really high up before the midway unload/pats ass is the most core Schweitzer experience
Coleg55Cause I’m tall and always get wacked
TheHamburglarI need all the help I can get after 16 beers and 2 blunts
theabortionatorIt is weird if you ride a mtn where the bar is everh day thing since you started and then move to a mtn with higher sketchier terrain and everyone rides no bar.
Downloading i almost always run the bar because it just feels weird lol
ReturnToMonkeyThe new Big Sky chair is so comfy and easy to fall asleep on. Pretty much zonked before even leaving the base station by the end of the day
RH406Love the fancy chairs, except for when people who can’t handle the cold put the bubbles down. I’m not trying to share oxygen with strangers tf
BrandoComandoI've only been to one resort with a bubble and it felt like the Ritz Carlton of chairlifts. So fancy. Pinky up all the way to the top

FruitBootProMfs are too lazy to lower the bar but bust their ass 20 times in a row learning to 2p2 and cork 5, crazy how it be like that

AnotherandrewIs it just me or does anyone find the foot rests uncomfortable. I still put the bar down because its required at the hills I go to, but I let my feet dangle under the foot rests because I find them uncomfortable.
