Sounds dumb but to the right buyer the value of a camera could theoretically go up simply due to the amount of heat stacked on it (or the array of HMC’s/HVX’s used to make not only the film, but lots of other legendary edits made by sanch and hoblitzelle. Considering that the lens used for it aka Century XTreme is discontinued and is selling for $7,000 now on eBay, and the sheer volume of timeless film that’s been taken on that camera, how much would y’all value it? I feel like it could sell for at least 10 grand down the road.

ArgyleNJYou can do yourself a favor by learning after effects and creating custom alpha graphics. Then lay them over better looking footage which will give you more latitude in the future.

Doesn’t matter what you’re using as long as you’re good with it. All about capturing the emotions and I think those real cinematic rigs just get caught up in the shot and not the vibe

SmokedGoudaMirrorless cameras are bad imo. Low battery life, slow viewfinder, and no shutter door to block the sensor(for Sony’s) which means dust can accumulate when changing lenses which can ruin pictures. Dust is evil!
They can be great for video though if you only use one lens the entire time. Good for video. Bad for photography unless you get one where the sensor is not exposed while changing lenses.
