So my friend is looking for a ski that will be good on jumps and will be adequate for rails he is in the 350$ price range

Dolan was pretty hyped on the oblivion 94, all of them are cheap and depending on where you ski one of the narrower options could be appropriate.

Line skis are relatively cheap, I’d go check their website for some options.
