BiffbarfGo to a boot fitter.
skeirmanEvery bootfitter I have gone to has tried to put me in 29's. My correct size is 28. In no universe is my correct size 29. Most "bootfitters" know just a little more than a casual weekend style skier. In most cases they just do their little shell fit, have you try on some boots, then ask you how they feel. Then they maybe do a liner mold that anyone can do, and out the door you go.
A bootfitter can help people that don't know shit about how they like boots to fit, or people who have a specific need, like a punch or something, and half the time they screw that up.
