Stoneham had a public superpipe. I dont know if they still do. But I do remember that they didnt maintain too often and its kinda dangerous to ride

Mt Snow took. Couple years off I think but they announced it was coming back for this season.

Loon might still, Okemos is gone i think.

Okemo still makes the pipe every year, though during the 2019/2020 season it was only 13'... Last season it was back to its normal size (18' I think).

Killi had one till last year. Hope they bring it back slushy stashmaker laps with the pipe at the bottom were the highlight of my trip to killi besides peace park

Any Ontario skiers know what the closest pipe is? Can't believe Louis ditched theirs. Seriously bummed.. Do kids these days seriously not enjoy skiing pipe?

I don’t think it’s that people don’t enjoy skiing pipe, but that it’s just one of the gnarliest thing you can ski/board on. Idk might just be a combination of liability/injury’s and it takes a ton of effort to make. But there’s no feeling like riding the pipe. #gripthepipe #ridethepipe

Personally I feel like building a pipe takes too much effort and space. I’d rather see a few jumps and some rails rather than a pipe

The problem with that, at Sunday river at least is that they've built dirt foundations that have settled. I think it would be sick if they just made a swerve ditch. Maybe some hips at the beginning and some creative features throughout.

Its fucking sick they have a half pipe, dont get me wrong. If you catch it the day or a day after they groom it, its an amazing pipe. Sadly, I keep hitting it the day before grooming so the transition was terrifying.
Simply getting air on that pipe is scarry as fuck. It feels like you are in between two icy monoliths and you are about to vertically ski it. The second scarry part is the ice on it. Your edges have to be so well tuned.

I miss half pipe. Can anyone tell me if Big White, Kelowna still has a half pipe?

Ah gottcha, cheers. I love pipe but man, definitely not driving to Quebec for it haha. Too bad. I mean, I get it. Pipes are so damn expensive to build and maintain and require a shit load of work for, it seems, less and less skiers who actually enjoy it. Just such a shame...
