Maybe in like 2012 when they went all in on parks for a bit, plenty of other great parks these days.

My vote is Nubs Nob and nobody is changing my mind on that. Also I really like Caberfae but if park is all you do don't bother.

nubs nob is the first place that i ever went when iwas like 9, tried snowboarding, fucking hated it. nubs nob has sspecial place in my heart, where i learned to hate snowboarding and by default began to love skiing

Cannonsburg is a great park...but the trash pile is a literal trash pile compared to Pine Knob and what Matt has been doing.





With this years upgrades I think PK will be giving troll a run for it's money

Yeah, it can be a little ritzy up there, doesn't change having a ton of trees, sustained steep fall lines, killer park, no lift lines regardless of how busy it is, good views of the bay, and a long season.

I went to Boyne Highlands once, it was for my dads birthday, he was sick then broke his leg.

I mean perfect North Slopes created jackson karsteter and Nick goepper. And they turned down an offer from vail so I love them. They work with 400’ really well great owners that love park skiers. May not have as good of skiing as it’s sister resort timberline but it’s where I’ve gone for the past 13 years and will continue to go as long as I can.

no service up there (not rly a con)

Hard to get to if you are new( also not rly that big of a con, its just rly fuckin out there)

old ass rickety lifts (whatever)

Ownership loves drama, there are a couple threads about Lonnie on here

the worst is that if you dont have a season pass you cant buy a lift ticket on Saturdays, im pretty sure you can buy ahead in advance tho

id say its kinda worth it cuz its insane up there, especially this year cuz they actually are getting legit amounts of snow

nubs nobs terrain is actually pretty sick for lower michigan, park didnt seem bad but didnt go through it when i was there

Pretty sure Mount Bohemia has the most fresh of anywhere in the country rn. They had 2 feet in two days earlier this week. Would love to be up there shredding rn!

I almost went to Purdue bro. Perfect north, Brighton MI, or Bittersweet MI are the best. Glad I chose GCU and Snowbowl is 2hrs away now
