My point is I couldn’t fathom being that “blessed” and blowing off hundreds of thousands of dollars of my parents or grandparents or whatever and not giving a fuck about school and picking some bullshit major that will be tough to find a job in.

hi_vis360I think what you gotta realize is that so many people just go with the flow in life and a lot of those privileged kids are just expected to go to college because it's "the right thing to do" or whatever. They don't really want to go to college in the first place but everyone in their family expects them to and if they're gonna pay for it it's like hey why not. Honestly I think a lot of the parents are equally to blame for thinking that their kid MUST go to college or they will never get a "good job" - whatever the fuck that is lol

faber-castelli definitely agree but then again the kids should actually do something with their free education. i dont care if your parents ship you out west for college if you major in engineering and actually try but it really pisses me off when their parents pay for their whole education at a nice school just for them to take gender studies and ski 24/7. While skiing can definitely be a lifestyle, it can only be a career for best ones. Good for them that they are blessed with rich parents, but use their money for something worth while

I think he probably has the top 3 most unique all around styles out of any skier I follow on social media. I think the conversation is more about consistency and the desire to compete for decades as opposed to getting washed eventually.
