Finally, the gap at 8:45 is Leviathan, and somebody needs to hit it again. That shot was the closest anyone (Pierre Yves-Leblanc) ever came to landing it and they had to quick clip it.

Way*MoI grew up hiking in that area all the time and it took me like 10 years to figure out where it was because i couldn’t comprehend that the take-off was that far from the landing. The scale doesn’t even fit in your vision when you’re looking at the hillside.

Yes the biggest jump I've ever hit is like 40 ft and yes I'm bad at skiing but it's my last year on my parents health insurance and I upped my life insurance policy so if I'm gonna die now is the time.

chubby3I would suggest doing pyramid first for practice as the in runs are hectic. Probably the most important part would be to manicure and groom a smooth in run, then get your speed right. If you feel super comfortable after pyramid then it's your call on Chad's. I might be keen for pyramid around Feb/March as I think I know the speed.

BigPurpleSkiSuithaving stood on it from the takeoff, it really is something to imagine clearing that, but standing on something with skis and then going into something with speed is a different feeling. Skiing a whole year gives you new dimensions of what is possible and what is not possible. I seriously doubt I'd ever even consider hitting chad's, or pyramid, but I also seriously doubted I would be able to hit a 40 foot cat track gap and that happened so who the hell knows. Anyway my point is it's just different looking at something on skis.

Was building a jump around PC a few days ago on a northern aspect. Tons of faceted snow both below and above December's snowpack, but overall still decent snow to work with. However, we're getting to the point in the season where the sun will really start frying any snow that's left on the southern aspects.
