Binding Position for Back Country Freeriding

So im about to buy my first pair of touring skis, and am really curious as to what position i should get the bindings mounted. Now currently im not stomping anything huge and am rarely skiing switch, but want to up the anti a bit and send it a bit more. Now because of this, i thought mounting them too far back would kill my chances at riding switch. What do you guys think is a good position to mount? And where do guys like Sammy C and Tom wallish mount their bc skis?

I hate touring on skis with long ass tails. Its an outright pain in the dick. mount them about 4 or 5 back probably

if the ski has a "freestyle" mount point on it I would go with that, depends on what skis you bought OP but it can never hurt to go + 1 or 2 from reco. On the armada zeros they got fire freestyle mount points, unless you like to land too forward in the ski like I do and somersault 100 feet down a nice line.

I always mount -6cm from true center. Most freeride recommended points are -4.5cm from true center. If your aggressive and have a ski racer style of driving your tongue definitely go a little farther back to keep yourself from driving your tip into the snow. But most freeride skis recommended mount point you'll be pretty happy with.
