Oh man I love thrifting.

One time I found a pair of old Fischer Park skis with orange pivot 14s on them for $25. The skis were basically urban condition and the pivots had some plastic missing on one of the toe piece wings but they worked. I took them home and bragged about the find on my insta story, and a kid I knew replied saying that the same pair of skis got stolen from their house a while back. So turns out I bought my friends stolen pair of skis back from the thrift store for $25. I offered to sell them back to him for what I paid but he was like nah keep em. I used the pivots for ~2 seasons and they're now pretty beat to shit, missing halfmoons on both skis but hey, $25.

I've also found an LL bean puffy vest brand new with tags and arcteryx snow pants. Def a lot of second hand ski gear to be found at SLC thrift stores or really any mountain town thrift store for that matter.

I’ve found a ton of nice fleeces as well. Over the summer I saw a pair of older line skis with griffions on them. I dont know the model but they were pretty fat and only 30$ I wish I bought them.

Never ski stuff but I’ve found some vintage Eddie Bauer stuff and EBTek along with great condition used LLbean fleeces. Hoping to find some vintage TNF jackets or pants or fleeces or patagucci. Those would be the dream

found a Black diamond hoodie, only problem was a broken zipper (it zips up & down fine the tab thingy just fell off) for $5 and a brand new patagonia fleece (one of the ones thats like a balaclava when u zip it up over ur head)

Yoo those are the boots I ski, I didn’t find them at a thrift store or for that cheap but I got them at a sports consignment shop for pretty cheap

I picked up an OG pair of Raichle 3 piece boots for $8 a couple years ago. Fun to compare with the newer full tilts I got. Weve come along ways in 3 piece design.

I found a hardwood classics retro lakers jersey that resold for 200 for like 12$ also found a ton of vintage nike

I found $1400 jordans. They were like the red and black retro 1 banned or whatever, they were super used and not really sellable but i got them literally for $32 so I just wear them as beater shoes and take dirty looks from people who are like pissed I'm trashing sacred J's or whatever

i wish i still had them but i found a pair of K2 fujatives w/ old race pivot 15's for like $50. they were really fun to ski but a bit too soft in soupy april slush
