ElcheapoI know someone who was homeschooled and their family skied 5 days a week
theLiquorI was homeschooled for a year or two after i was expelled in middle school and then partially thru HS and technically graduated as a homeschooler. That count?
but people who homeschooled even b4 pandemic—90% right wing zealots wanting to keep their kids away from the many tools of the devil taught in pub school
AbiHMy siblings and I were homeschooled the whole way through, it was super dope. I don’t know why everyone thinks we aren’t good at socializing…. If anything were better at it, we were forced to interact with all different ages of people and background on the regular. Not to mention if we excelled in one area we could move on. We travelled more than anyone I knew. We all have some super good friends that were still friends with today, so yeah we can make friends, play sports, start a business do whatever the heck we want… And we finished our college prerecs in high school….
now we’re all grown up and we’re all successful and one of my brothers is on his way to breaking a million $…
homeschooling is good because it teaches you independence, if you’re not understanding something you have to figure it out on your own… which is a pretty useful life skill…
