Op, plz take advices about boot fitting over internet with grain of salt)
for example, I’m 135lb and my current boots are Dalbello KR2 PRO with B tongue (130 flex) and atomic Hawx XTD 120 with a wrap liner which makes them stiffer. But I’ve been riding for 8+ years and went from rental boots that had been basically flip flops to something I use nowadays. And I was put in various 120-130 flex boots by different competent bootfitters.
also there are female and young ski racers around same weight as we that use 110-140 flex boots without any problems
how long have you been skiing? How did you get your current boots? How many seasons have you been skiing in them? how old are you?
If you have an access to a bootfitter - talk to any in person.
If you don’t have such a privilege, there is another option. The flex of 3piece boots are mostly determined by their tongues. I don’t know if there’s any tongue for your particular model, but if there’s any - you can try c flex which translates for 110 flex.
cody04Il start off by saying I have a pair of DALBELLO IL MORO MX 90, There great boot but recently bought some Line blends and I'm looking for a more stiffer boot since the blends are so soft,
I'm 125 pound, light as hell,
I was looking at KRYPTON AX 120 ID
I mostly ski park 80% and 20% mountain.
My foot is around that 100m,
I'm just scared that boot will be too stiff. any thoughts on these boots or suggest something else?
