How would you change a ski?

(sorry if this has been made I did a search)

So i really like chronics but I catch myself thinking about how I would make it better for my riding. If I could I would make a pair with more symmetrical tail and noses, and a tad more rocker. How would you change a pair of skis ?

You’d buy a new pair that match your needs better, can’t really make changes to your skis my guy

I feel like the only true mods you could make is making a swallowtail or changing the flex (which is controversial). Not sure if it’s actually true but I remember hearing that Max Hill used to put his skis in between cinder blocks to make them softer before using them

I think OP is posing a hypothetical question. Like if you *could* make changes to an existing ski to improve it or make it more in keeping with your preferences what would changes would you make to what skis.

I don’t usually think about how skis could be changed but first ski that comes to mind: Revolt 95. Remove the butter zone behind the heel and make the profile less stiff overall.

Add a 181 size to the BO118

add a 176 size to bo 98, and make the tail more of a twin

Vishnu Wet- More tip/tail flair as well as a few cms wider, preferably 118/90/118

I’m going to be “be that guy”, but I really want ON3P to offer all of their customs in like 196-198cm lengths. Obviously they would hardly sell and I’m just dreaming here, but us big sumbitches who charge spicy lines at like 45mph would benefit from longer skis than 192.
