Paul Mitchell in skiing.

I seem to remember a few years ago Paul Mitchell (the hair school) was really involved in sponsoring contests. Does anyone know why or how they got involved with skiing? Seems like such a strange connection.

Idk why they got involved but I remember they sponsored tj schiller and a few others

Paul Mitchell has been around the ski scene since forever. They used to sponsor Pro Mogul events back in the 80's.

Kinda like how swatch and other watch cos sponsor events and individuals. Doesn’t make much sense but thanks Swatch for the freeride support

Total guess but I always figured they sponsored events because of the time keeping element in racing. Like, it would make sense for a clock manufacturer to sponsor an event using timers…
