Iphone 7 apparently not getting ios16. Is ur fone getting hacked a serious possibility?

Ive got an iphone 7 and it is working just fine. Ideally i would like to keep it but i want to know if i did keep my phone past the period of ios updates if it would be a serious possibility to get hacked or if this is just porkie pies.

oh and by the way, apple, fucking kill yourselves.

No, you’re good. Just make sure to have the latest patch of whatever IOS version you have. The first patches of new IOS versions tend to have the most vulnerabilities. The only problems you’ll experience are that you will be missing a few features. Also, apps will quit supporting your IOS version as time goes on. New IOS versions are designed for the newer iPhones, and they tend to have performance issues on older phones, so it’s best that you keep the older IOS version anyways.

You dont have to spend 1200 dollars. Good phones are 600-800 these days, tons of good deals around the holidays. Battery life, speed, cameras, 5g etc all reasons to upgrade from a phone made 5 years ago.

idk. I mean i dont have a new iphone to compare but my 7+ is just about flawless. Everything loads quickly and i have good battery life still.

the only reason i would upgradd would be if this fone was risking getting hacked

Id rather use the 600-800. Not a fan of how "disposable" phones are...
All I do on my phone is browse internet, gps, and take the occasional picture. Never spent more than $150 on a phone and have never had a phone battery that doesn't last all day.

As long as it last me 3-4 years I'm okay paying the money. Just let my old iphone go. It was functional, but had some broken bits and pieces. As someone who likes to be pretty utilitarian and use it until I can't...it's pretty crazy how far phones have come in 4 years.

For me, if it's something I use every day it's worth it to spend some cash every now and then. Same thing with high thread count sheets or good shoes. Is it pricey? Sure. But is it nice that the things I use every day are nice? Absolutely.

If I use this new phone for another 4 years.. that's 160$ a year. Not too bad for something I used every day to take dog pics, do work shit, watch vids, navigate, do excersize tracking etc. everyday.

That being said the people who buy a new iPhone every year are animals and should be ostracized

I hate this as well. Seems like you spend all that money and they are made to slow down/break in 2 years.


Granted if your phone is broken get a new one. But if it does everything you want who cares. Put that money into your savings.

I read that companies like apple used to purposely make their fones slow down after a few years. It was either in the ios update or it was built into the phones factory software. Apple got caught redhanded with this bullshit attempt to get ppl to buy new phones. They claimed it was “to save battery life”.



just goes to show you theres alot of ppl out there who should kill themselves. Whatever asshole at apple dreamed up old iphone throttling is one of them.
