Opinions on skis I plan to buy

I currently ride the ARV 86s. I ski at mount snow and pretty much stay in the park. However, I'm kind of bored and want a wider ski.

I've been debating between the ARV 96, line Chronic, 4frnt switch, blends, poachers.
Should I go wider than those options, or do you guys have diff options?

(Also, I am wondering if its worth it add only 10mm of width since I plan on keeping the ARV 86s around)

Revolt 104? Gives you a little extra separation in the quiver and all mountain capability.

You absolutely will feel a 1cm diff. If nothing else in weight. I agree with going wider though. Just so you'll feel more of a difference and have less indecision about what ski to use on a given day. Something 100+ would be a nice contrast from 86

Thanks I'll check it out. Would I use that ski that often in southern Vermont, generally not much snow?

I have the 2020 chronic and it is the best ski I have ever owned. so much fun all over the mountain. center mounted my bindings since I mostly ride them in the park, but I'll ride in chopped up pow with these things too

@tri_photo I'm looking for a soft ski like something just a little bit stiffer than the blends, would the chronic be that ski?
Before buying the chronic want to make sure there not stiff like my Revolk 86

Trust me man I have 2020 chronics and they have to be the best ski I’ve ever owned. They are still extremely soft but stiff exactly where they need to be. Not as noodly as blends. But still a really soft and fun ski.

Seriously, MaxSB is spot on. I’m not even trying to be a line skis loyalist, but it’s tough to describe just how fun these skis are, and how well balanced they are too.

So for a 120 pound guy would you say blend or Cronics, I just scared of the blend being too soft but I'm also a light guy...

i preffer 95-105 for park. more stable both on rails and landings.

I’d do some more research into what you want in a ski. Out of what you listed they’re kind of all over the place

Sure, any time it's not bullet proof? It holds a good edge for the type of ski and width.

maybe chronic or arv96.

But I think the chronic is softer? more fun in the park?
I know the 96 is probably more durable tho.
it could be better as a 1 ski does it all

I’d say one of those two.

Is the arv 96 good in the park? how does it compare to the arv 86 or line chronics?
