shiiiiit man my asshole does this every now and then. it fucking sucks. I got this product on amazon literally called Itchybum and it works pretty good, some sort of hydrocortisone type deal I think. otherwise the best thing to do is avoid acidic foods when it happens and at alll costs try to resist the urge to scratch as much as you can, its gonna feel like u are about to pop but ieverytime you scratch it resets the itch/scratch cycle and it goes on and on, so to resist helps the little abraisions on your butthole heal and not itch more
1) poop still outside your ass making it itchy. Try wet wipes.
2) hemorrhoids (most likely reason for itchy butthole, and commonly has blood on the tp but not always)- get cream, ointment, or suppositories. Apply or use regularly until symptoms gone. Try to get something with hydrocortisone and/or phenylephrine. Suppositories will work the best.
3) you got pinworms (doubt it tho unless you got kids). Usually itchiest at night; can be captured with tape at night to confirm but still needs an oral medication
Some self care if you do have hemorrhoids:
-Go when you feel the urge. Don't wait.
-If you sit down and don't go, don't force it. Don't strain when pooping and don't sit there if ur not going.
-Don't sit on the toilet longer than necessary. The toilet is a sanctuary to sit but that practice also is a recipe for hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are just enlarged blood vessels and are made worse by straining and duration of sitting..
-clean ur bum good and well. Don't leave residue behind
