Are my skis to heavy to do rail tricks

Hey boys, I've been riding park for 2 or 3 years now and I'm just getting into the more advanced tricks' like rail swaps and other things. im 15 and Moderately tall at 5 9 not being very strong. I got ARV 96s and there way heavier then the lines I had. Will there be any issues doing swaps and spins on and off of rails. what should I do

Personally I don’t think 96 would limit any tricks. Skiing is a gravity sport weight isn’t always a bad thing it’s more force down the hill if your skis weigh more just can’t cheat as much with shitty form gotta learn shit going fast and for real

Naw you're just not used to throwing bigger skis around. It builds character- you'll get used to it.

you will get used to it. your legs will get stronger and be able to throw them around more. i used to struggle with swapping the first weeks of the season because i didn't maintain my muscles. maybe work out a bit to build leg strength to make it go faster.

This. The ARV96 was my first proper park ski and man, they felt heavy and clumsy. Now I feel like I'm home with taller and wider skis than that. The ARV96 only gets skied in hard pack snow & street/backyard.

not at all, and you should be hyped on those skis, they're better than what you came from. don't worry, you'll get used to it really quick. skiing is weird, you'll notice the weight of your setup just standing there of course but speed changes the whole equation and you def don't have particularly heavy skis

This, stronger legs means easier tricks and less strain on your body. Also you'll just get used to it
