I just brought my new skis in to get bindings mounted on them and the shop is saying that my old look pivot 14 don’t fit with my new full tilts. Is this really true?

I’ve never known a shop to lie for an extra sale, but I doubt that any semi recent pair of pivot 14s wouldn’t fit

If you have gripwalk soles that may be it, but all you need to do is get Alpine soles instead.

Something is missing here. If you brought in skis, bindings, and a boot that's standard practice. Something with the AFD and/or gripwalk maybe? Older pivots might not be compatible with gripwalk.
