PC Started blowing snow today

Finally were blowing some of the fake stuff, I don't know about you but im itching for some 3 kings laps.

I saw that woodies is blowing too, they'll probably get open before PC I think but we'll see.

i dunno if i ever said i disliked transitions, just the canyons side in general. had some great times lapping transitions, but i havent been over there in a bit and last year they didnt build it :(

I'm on PC park crew we were pretty bummed we didn't get transitions last year, it was due to staffing and a lack of snow they wouldn't give us snow making for it.
Maybe this year will be different but its looking rough so far :/

Yeah last year was a weird year, hopefully you guys can build transitions this year.

Rough as in snow coverage or as in not bringing it back? I’d gladly pick up some hours if it were to bring back transitions

rough as in snow coverage, when the resort needs extra snow making our parks sadly are the last to get it which is also why Pickaxe was smaller and didn't get jumps last year.

Damn, thanks for the info. Hoping you guys are able to make due and build us some sweet stuff. Progression parks are a real hit with the freeride team up there haha.

Last year I was confused because they opened the spot where pickaxe is as a normal run so why didn’t they just keep it fenced off and blown snow until they were ready for the park?

Snow making is pretty expensive and we are the last to get a budget for it, there priority is usually having more "runs" and "skiable terrain" than a terrain park unfortunately.

Sad how ever since vail took over at pc they have totally screwed locals and the terrain park community

I've been on the fence about getting an epic for PC this year. Any thoughts on is it worth it or just to ski park at Woodward?

If you’re strictly skiing park Woodward is the way to go, if you want a little bit of both pc probably.
