Anybody order the new head oblivions?

Im curious about the super thick edges they are putting on the oblivions. I wonder if the durability will equal or surpass on3p

saw them at my local shop the other day. they kinda have my interest. a 94 underfoot full camber parks ski seems to be kinda fun.

as far as quality goes, it looks great. i know some of the older caddie models had durability issues. friend of mine got 3 pairs from them since each ski exploded underfoot and the tip edges fell out.

no fan of the stiffness and turn radius of the oblivions. but would love to try them at a demo. might get some in my quiver in the future

Nice. Im waiting for a durability review to cone out wrt the oblvions thicker edges. Maybe they will be good. Idk. If they are i will probably scoop a pair of 94s at end of seezun

I cant believe how inexpensive these skis are considering head is going for a durability play with the oblivions with the extra thick edges. Also head said the oblivions will continue to have the full racing class base just like their racing skis have.



Its possible the oblivion 94s turn out to be a durable ski that can stand up to the park. If i was considering buying on3ps for 800$, i think i would rather buy 2 sets of oblivion 94s for the same fucking price as one set of on3ps, and i would have one set of oblivions for doing park/rails/rocky terrain and the other set for groomers, jumps, and soft snow.

It would be crazy if the oblivions turn out to be a super rugged rail ski with their beefcake edges. And at this price i almost want to dump my revolt 87s and just hop on these chubby sluts.

If you swap your skis they become Oblivion 49s. Wonder if they ever considered making them 96 underfoot so we could have a Head Oblivion 69.

Anyone actually end up grabbing these? The value for the durability seems really good. I was originally thinking of getting some ARVs but these actually look like they have thicker edges, unless I'm mistaken?

You mentioned you peeped them in person, how'd the edges look? If they're beefier than what armada or anyone else is offering at that price point I'd do the same for sure

Saw a pair on the slopes when the ski hill had just been open for 3 days. They pair looked like it had been through a few wars with large sections(2” by 3”) of the top sheet totally missing on the tip and lots of chipping. Was surprised how beat up they looked already.

Similar flex to a Line Chronic but much lighter and way softer and lighter than Armada ARV 96 or the very well built Prodigy 2.0.

Looked beegy and solid. Ski felt sorta chunky (like a poacher) didn’t look at them for too long, but i must say, they look solid. Didn’t measure the edges, but look to be quite thick.
Don’t know how they will be on snow, seen there is a longer turn radius which might make ut less fun.

Really appreciate the info. Honestly at the rate I go through skis I'll take the hit if it means they last longer than a ski for the same price (and they're still decent to ride)
