Thoughts on Dalbello boots

The resort boots are pretty good, I used to like my krypton's. I think lupos are hella over-rated tho, feel like I'm always breaking shit on them

EdudeJust wondering what y’all think about the brand, quality, and how they do over a couple seasons. Just got into boots and the salomon spk looked so sick. I know what the boot looks like doesn’t matter, but i was just wondering

My dad got a pair a couple seasons back he’s a pretty solid skier and he’s in love with them, idk what kind of skier you are but there a pretty good solid ski boot, I’d still say my full tilts are superior but up to you

Been very happy with my Dalbello Converse Pros over the past season.

Gone through a few Krypton 130s. Been really happy with them but the buckles keep breaking for me.

Super comfy and bulletproof. I love mine

Been on Dalbello Il Moro T's for the past 8ish years. Bought a new pair maybe 4 years ago but after having dealt with boot problems my whole life up until then I have no intention to try to switch it up. Best boot brand IMO, at least for the fit I need

Oh. Yeah they’re just as solid as any other boot I guess, I’ve heard stories of people breaking the walk modes on the Lupo boots but I never had an issue with mine….

Can’t go wrong with Dalbello boots if your feet like how they fit. Many pro’s use them and almost every rental boot you’ll see this winter is a pair of Dalbello’s which means they make a boot that can fit well for almost everyone. My first pair of ski boots were some packed out and worn down Dalbello rental boots and I really enjoyed them to be honest, but the season after I upgraded to Salomon SPK’s (R.I.P.) and I enjoyed them even more for their flex and comfort. Eventually I went to Full tilts (R.I.P.) and they’re great dont get me wrong, but the intuition liners they have while nice and comfortable, don’t give the same support and so they packed out alot faster than my SPK’s ever did. So now I’m on a pair of Il Moro’s that seem to be just a notch better than the FT’s being a little more robust at the cost of adding a little extra weight. But who cares about weight now since we all wanna ride fatty skis that add an extra pound to each foot...

So it seems part of the issue is with 26.5 and smaller with the way the cuff lines up with the switch. The shop I go to filed part of my upper cuff down to let the switch move in all the way which seems to have stopped the walk switches from dying.

Interesting. My shop doesn’t sell the Lupo, I’ve owned one but never had any issues so this is interesting to hear. Seems like a pretty weird issue for Dalbello though

Top notch I’d say. I came from technica Cochise boots to dalbello kryptons and I’m in love. Durability is awesome they still look new. Great company

but I’m an avid for boot fitting 100%, it may fit my foot but may cause tons of pain in yours

+1 for Dalbello's quality, at least for my Krypton 130s. Those things are bricks.
