Quick help, pivot screw broke in half

how do i fix this and is it a big deal. i can grab another one of those screws from a different set of pivots but how do i get it out?

Can you grab and turn it with pliers? If not you can slot it with a dremel and a cutoff wheel and maybe get it with a flathead. Last resort you'll have to drill it out

Go to a really shitty ski shop that has done you wrong in the past and stealthy steal the floor models screw. Or the hardware store.

i dont need a new screw, i just need to know if i can ski without the screw and if not how to get out the half screw

It was a joke. If you can't do it with pliers I'd epoxy that whole piece down so water doesn't get in

This is why I don’t buy Gripwalk or WTR toepieces anymore.


You’ll be fine just epoxy it in or something my WTR toepieces used to do that all the time and I never had issues

idk maybe use some sort of metal rod that will fit in the spot, and then put some super glue in between the two, so it’s almost like an extension of the screw. then just twist it out

OP, I was in the same boat as you, but I didn't realize until my entire plastic window fell off.

They make "Left handed drill bits" for this exact purpose. Depending on how hard the metal of the bolt is, you should be able to extract it no problem with a set of lefty bits
