Skiers will not think for themselves and buy products because they think they will get clout instead of buying gear that suits them and supports homie own business

people won’t accept 1000 as a positive influence

Vishnu will still be underestimated and looked down upon in many circles despite great offerings and great quality

Icelantic Da’Nollie was the greatest ski ever made and has yet to be challenged, no jets aren’t the same

years later when he has served his time he will become a changed man of god and get married and settle down under a new name in Indiana.

@HaydenB finna blow, @Jems and @weastcoat gonna drop some heaters. SD will keep coming back, if ur skiing with poles they better be normal length or long and have pow baskets. Every filmer dropping edits will be using a 10plus year old prosumer. Synch beanies will continue being trendy, so will vintage fleeces or normal fleeces. Shells and track pants will remain king in the pants department. Like others have said that and earth tones will continue to grow. I hope that 4:3 comes back along with 4:3 HD, never mind it will and I will be praying it does. More people in the streets. And maybe some people bringing new or different approaches to pow skiing.

I’ve never tried Jets but I’ve hand flexed them and that’s close enough of a test for flex purposes I Guess. So i would compare the current nomad 95 to an unsymmetrical jet pretty much, nomads are prolly softer tbh. Nomad 95 and current jets have same rocker dimensions. 36cm in tip 30 in tail, whereas the DaNollies have the same shape as jets (125/95/125) but have more rocker (38 in tip 32 in tail) and are softer than all 3.

the Gen 1 jets have the softest flex from what I’ve been told and ride more similar to the DaNollie than the gen2s do in terms of flex. Gen 1’s also seem to have more given rocker than what the Gen2s have.

I love my V’s but these DaNollies are so easy to press and butter (because of the more progressive flex and flared tips) that I’m not sure if I’ll ride anything else other than Icelantic for a while. That being said I heard a small rumor On the street that rocker profile of wets will change so they’re not as flat so who knows what I’ll be on after these two pairs of DaNollies meet their death lol

Also I forgot to mention. I hate non symmetrical skis. Skiing switch on them feels kinda weird then again I haven’t ridden a non symmetrical ski in probably four years now so I kinda forget how it feels.

I feel like big and baggy is back in full swing this year and forward...classic ttp, 3xl hoodie. Probs has to do with Henrik's crew and some social media influencers that have gained attraction. Always interesting when a homie changes up kit styles from big and baggy to tailored or vice versa

Vail resorts Guest Experience is going to burn like the hottest dumpster fire you have ever seen.

60% higher pass sales(probably more like 69% at this point) the countries greatest "labor shortage" we have seen in our lifetime and no local longterm housing available in ski towns.

Do the math- a shit ton more passes sold, a shit ton less employees than any other year for resorts. Ill be living in my van at Abasin and watching the dumpster fire that is vail resorts burn this year.

I predict trends for next year-
vail resorts pass sales plummet after people couldn't ski their favorite runs this year on a cheaper pass because the resorts dont have enough employees to open terrain or run all the lifts. Or they have to wait outside in a hour long line for food because they are un-vaxxed and are not allowed to eat inside at cafeterias.

All the kids who bought parachute pants in the spring won’t consider that they actually won’t keep them warm. They will wear parachute pants and go on trips to Duluth to film their “totally introspective” and “far out” urban segments while actually they end up having to get their legs amputated because of the frost bite they acquire on their quest for “totally banger shots” and self worth.

My Predictions for this year:

Utah will be a dumpster fire. Red Snake Traffic, Parking fees, overfilled lots, things will get weird.

Speaking of dumpster fires, Epic resorts will be even worse. The labor shortage and housing crisis is gas on the fire.

There will be an insane amount of amateur content on insta/tiktok/whatever. Every week some kid you've never heard of will drop a heater clip.

The Japanese scene is on the rise. We will continue to see more content and talent originating there.

The FWT will be an epic battle between Ross Tester and Isaac Freeland.

The Olympics will broadcast the most insane level of technical skiing you've ever seen. Someone with good style WILL be snubbed, NS WILL be salty.

The reign of Matej Svancer will start. It will also be a good year for Ez Pvnda.

A$AP Ferg is going to drop a music video with Zeb Powell.

Tanner Hall will say something dumb, the Fagan twins will slowly and quietly start coming back, there will be some big controversy and it will almost certainly involve either Palisades Tahoe or trans athletes.

People will be wearing more Wu Tang gear/stickers/whatever. Vishnu will still be hot but has started its descent now you see it everywhere.

You will see a lot of green washing in the ski industry. You can build skis with flax instead of fiberglass, zero carbon, wood sidewalls, local wood cores, and partly bio-based resin. Most companies talking about sustainability will do none of this.

You will try to cork again and get lost in the air, crashing awkwardly.
