Is 190+ too big to throw around for backyard and urban skiing?

My shortest ski is 191 being some jeff 102s. Would it suck to ski in a backyard setup? Or is something smaller ideal

yes
191 is huge for jibs unless you are well over over 6'00
do not listen to the long ski luchadors
then again, nobody is stopping you
maybe you will love skiing on railroad segments
if you are wicked good at backyard and urban, then long skis are an opportunity
but if you want to "throw around" you will enjoy yourself much more with something smaller

Something smaller would for sure be better, less in terms of length but more so in burliness and weight. on3ps aren't light skis and they're made to ski fast. Vishnu wets are pretty much the perfect ski for what you're talking about.

at the same time rocking big ass skis in the streets is excellent steeze so idk just ride whatever feels good

jokes aside I’m like 6’4 so I like tall skis. Just gonna hunt some cheap ones for now

Dude if youre 6'4" you'll have no problem. I ride the 186 at 6'2" 185lbs and they're perfect. Ive skied 191 nomad 105s which will be a touch shorter than the on3p 191 and they were very manageable in the park.

Yea you are fine. Skis are expensive and you are 6’4…plus it kinda helps you dial it in if you use the same ski in a bunch of different situations. Presumably the back yard set up is mostly practice anyway
