What kind of earbuds do you guys use for skiing? I liked riding with music last season but the wired apple earbuds I used really sucked and don't work for my ears
i’m tryna get airpods and only rock em with the full neck setup n shit so i can’t lose them. other than that backpack speakers are really really cool and i heard it makes people like you a lot
the outdoor tech chip system is pretty nice. i have the wired ones tho and whenever i land weird my music pauses or glitches. worth it tho because earbuds always fall out for me.

I had another brand of chip system, sounded like shit then the left ear stopped working 😐
One time I ordered these just to spend the last 20 bucks I had on an Amazon Gift Card, and they ended up lasting me a few seasons. Battery life was all day too. Sound quality is good enough, but nothing to write home about.
Original airpods are by far the superior skiing headphone. Mine have never fallen out under my blackstrap. I can play/pause/skip without taking my gloves off but the pros make you squeeze them. I used the connector thing for a while but it just made them fall out more. I've had mine since 2018, ski with them every day and never lost them.

Does the pause work through your black strap and a beanie with mittens on? I’m considering picking a pair up because my power beats pros start to hurt after awhile. But I like them because of the big easy to press buttons.

Yeah works just fine. I have the left one set to play/pause and the right one set to skip. Sometimes a hard landing makes it pause or skip but not that often.
i wear a pair of galaxy buds in school everyday. (i dont like music when I ski the sound of my skis clapping together when i land with my legs so thight my balls hurt sounds to good) anyway i hate the stigma around airpods. If someone sees you wearing anything but the newest air pods they talk down on you so much
Skullcandy Jib is the only pair of earbuds any skier needs. They're only $10 and the sound quality is insanely good for the price you pay. It's been my earbud of choice when riding park for the last 5 years or so.
Someone on here suggested Airpods and they said the controls worked through a beanie and blackstrap so I grabbed my wife's and took them skiing. Turns out they work perfectly through everything even with mittens on. Gotta stay with Gen 1 or 2 for them to work but I grabbed a pair of Gen 2s for $100 and they are my go to skiing headphone now.

Very nice. Yeah with my gen 1’s sometimes Siri will reply back.. most times she won’t. I think I need to upgrade :P.
