Bro maybe find people who actually need storage units. Your data is going to be botched because I'd wager that the majority of people on this site don't actually need one, so obviously they wouldn't pay any sum of money to have one.

Yeah agreed with above. Ski bums college kids and highschool kids are most of this website. I can't imagine any of us really putting much use on a 10x10 storage site. Not to mention for 125 bucks a month. You'll possibly get a few responses but not anything worthwhile o think

I had a 5x10 and I was pissed when it went up to $50 a month. I don't have a storage unit at the moment, and I wouldn't pay $125. That seems insane.

Location impacts this greatly though. I would drive out of my way to find a cheaper spot because storage. If I was using it work work with ladders and shit I needed every day maybe I wouldn't care. In urban areas it's more pricey but I still would drive out of the way to avoid spending that much. If I needed something that size I might pay $80.

I've rented a storage unit (small one). I was suckered in with the low cost. When I signed up in the office I found that in addition to the low cost I'd also HAVE to pay for the mandatory insurance and purchase their "special" lock. These BS fees really annoyed me. Truly a bait and switch tactic. I paid for it for a while and then realized the stuff I was storing wasn't even worth what I was paying for the unit.

Self-storage units are known to be a major money maker and source of passive income. Storage units, laundromats, and car washes are all in this category.

i pay $50 for a 10x10. and that's in seattle. not sure where you would find one for 150 or who would even pay that much

I know plenty of folks with storage units cuz they don't have space. Wayyy too expensive imo tho

I had an idea about something similar to storage units but it's workshop space, different price packages for different needs, air hoses/water/power. Benches, cabinets

I have rented a few in my years. Best thing to bottom out is, what are you storing/using it for and for how long? $125/month isnt bad if it is a climate controlled indoor access unit. I paid $185/month for a 10x7 unit in Vancouver, WA, it was climate controlled, indoor access, 24/7 security and insurance. We had some stuff that my wife needed to store for her business as we were moving areas. Later I rented a 8x20 for $125/month to store all my tools and garage stuff such as multiple motorcycles, ski equipment etc. They didnt want me working on anything there but I still did it. I had my air compressor set up along with my motorcycle lift, I had to wire in additional 110v sockets for power(removed them when I left). Since than, I have purchased a 40ft shipping container and store all our shit in that now. I am in an odd situation at the moment but hope to be back to a normal life in a year or 2.

Going with a no chief.

I have only used storage once for a summer. I called around for the cheapest price so what you posted means nothing to me. It’s been a while and forgot sizes prices already. Don’t have a reason or enough shit to do it regularly.

Yeah my storage unit in wa for the summer had the bullshit insurance. I got in good because they offered 3 months for half price or something and i only needed 4 months.

A lot of people rent one and keep it forever get another when they run out of space. Worked for me to get in though.

I had a 10×10 for $60 a month for a year when I was deployed overseas. It was cheaper to put my stuff in storage rather than keep to keep paying rent for my apt. I was 23/24 years old so I didn't have that much stuff.

I have much more with having a house now and I still wouldn't ever use a storage unit. I have plenty of room here and if I felt like I was running out of room i would get rid of stuff. I'm constantly donating and selling things.

Check out the potential competition and see what they are going for in the area your thinking of, if they're say 100$ for a 10x10 and are plenty of vacant ones then he'll no, if they're going fir the price your thinking of and none are available then hell yea , just call around I guess.
