TheMoostafianNice, I'll be up there at my buddy's house for a week and a half at the end of this month. Im moving for a lot of reasons - I'd say the major ones are hunting and fishing opportunities, forestry work and availability of land.

CaseyYeah the scum is one thing that happens if you leave your boat in the water all summer. I have some stuff that will take it off pretty easy but it’s some pretty nasty acid treatment. Mostly just having a secure place to keep it that is accessible from land. I did a couple years of tying it up to someone’s dock over the summer it’s a real drag to have to babysit the boat constantly it just gets the holy fuck beat out of it by boat wakes and rough water. Plus if you need to work on it it’s up out of the water I pull the plug so rain doesn’t collect in the bilge.
I don’t keep it on the lake in the winter time the lake levels here are too unpredictable during storm seasons. It’s pretty common for the lake to be 5-6 feet higher than in that pic by February. So it’s a spring to fall thing pretty much.
Taking lifts apart and taking them out of the water for winterization is a bitch lol. Me and my dad used to do it around oct/Nov in Michigan and the water was so fucking cold in that Midwest fall weather and tons of muck when the dams would open up

God what a nightmare. I only pull the pump and battery for the winter, that’s annoying enough- the lift ain’t going anywhere

You can't see them there. I only mulch mow after the flower seeds set. The lot (meadow) has as ass wipe of wild flowers! It's awesome! Let me see if I can find some old photos. Each year it has gotten better!

Friend from music invited me over to lay down song songs today. He's been trying to get me over for it since spring. Hasn't worked out snd I was at hood but nice to make it.
He has some killer songs too. Solid guitar player. He's playing a small gig tomorrow and asked if I'd swing by to hang and play a few songs. Never been to the place but I guess your normal midsize spot with a good out door area and decent crowd.
Told him I was down. I'm not big on playing in front of a lot of people but been getting better by hitting open mics etc. Also some people aren't as receptive to original music but that's why we've been chillin and why he wants me to play. He's playing almost all originals and wants me to play a couple of mine.
Someone put these in a buncha driveways in a nearby neighborhood. These are particularly diverse neighborhoods. Interesting to see all the racists come out of the woodwork in the comments supporting this shit. Apparently it's a fine line of free speech vs hate crime. Once it is construed as a threat, it becomes a crime but simply speaking about it is not. Really bizarre hate groups enjoy protections. Also interesting how people like to shit on the aclu for their efforts with BLM but they are actually just unbiased. Surprised to see this (below)
