partyandBSi heard a much different killdozer story i heard was that the city kept permitting buildings that constricted and fucked the dood marv’s business over and over until he lost everything including his mind.
pretty sure he had a rifle with 1 bullet designated for his skull and wasnt shooting at anyone else either.
Yeah also no one was killed cause itit was hard to aim. People act like he didn't intend to kill anyone. He for sure would have. Hell people barely made it out of some of the buildings begire he demolished them. Newspaper guy sounss like he got the closest to getting killed.
But yeah dude brought several guns. The "warning shot" thing is just shit to fit the folk hero narrative.
Nobody knows what happened with him and the town honestly. He said she said. But dude was a crusty douche who couldn't get over things. Not a hero
oh he was shootin! 15 times at transformers, his neighbor who he hated, propane tanks and the police.
listen hear b-rad, i already acknowledged i was was wrong like a week ago so don’t come at me like that! i’ll build my killdozer and drive it down i70 right to your place buddy!!

I've always wondered how it would go sueing the state for their fuck ass roads. Lmk how it goes, it's not like the state doesn't get enough tax revenue to make the roads not a hazard and a $250 tire is a drop in the bucket

i wrote them a detailed message and added some humor that they could close the lane and rent out the space as a studio for $1,500 a month. i also ended it with a thank you for the work during the difficult time with cold temps,
snow, and high traffic. all this was 100% pandering in an effort for them to be more likely to support my claim than if i were to accuse and blame them like a lil fuckhead. wish me luck lol
Pawned my Martin this fall in Carson City to swing rent and deposit for moving in. Went and picked it up last night and stayed at my friemds house. Stoked to have it back and always nice to catch up with friends.

i like your thinking
the answer is that it's FlowViz paint that was sprayed onto the wind tunnel model of the race car i'm designing, then the rolling road belt and wind sprayed that shit everywhere
sewed my first frame bag for this bikepacking/monster gravel/whatever bike I have been building up over the winter. will be bolt on into water bottle cage holes once i mount it properly so much cleaner with just the top lacing.
Looks really good! Any reason you did different straps across the top instead of matching the seat tube/down tube style?
dognut

Cant really see it but built a double bowl dealio. Gonna add some shit around it tonight.
That's the front. Might add a few jibs into it.
Also built a volcano and some other snow features.
Idk I didn't post them on my story or anything so figured I'd post here.
Curious how large mountains operate in the parks. Who comes up with the park layout?
At my mountain park crew comes up with the layout and then talks to the builders to make sure they can do it and then it is executed by builders+park crew. We don't have anyone dedicated solely to grooming/building the park. We also do a ton of handwork where I know some mountains will groom rail takeoffs with the cat.
My perception from your posts is that you randomly build shit wherever you want, but I feel like this can't be the case or is it?

Thanks!
yea i prefer the lace up style aesthetically. and all but one of those straps on the down tube/seat tube will be gone once i punch the holes i need to make it bolt on to the water bottle bosses.

So I think different mtns do things differently. Here, sometimes the day staff crew will send us features they want or bosses want something in.
Also sometimes well have a plan for certain sections of psrks or certain features and kinda put dibs on a spot or feature.
Sometimes you know you should have time and there's a plan to build certain sections of trails. You get to be creative on a lot of stuff. As long as it rides good. Otherwise will need to get tweaked or pulled if it sucks.
We're switiching up our parks as often as we can so sometimes you get a little free time and change or add a few features. Sometimes you can tag team a whole section.
But yeah its cool to have the ability to build anything within reason that fits the trail you put it on. Size of feature for size of park.
Also we leave features basically 90%, thats what's expected any time we build and normal grooming. Build take off, cut sides and back, fully till it but leave takeoff bladeroy so they aren't too firm in the morning.
I've also worked at places where 90% of the work is hand crew and cats don't even push you a take off or even pile of snow. Mostly small mtns but even tline does that. It's wild.
But yeah coming from psrk crew when we did everything by hand, dragging rails around. Scraping snow for takeoffs, raking and many time even building jump takeoffs. I like being on the other side where you do it all in the machine and leave little to no handwork.
Like well get yelled at if there's crumbles under an open frame rail we set. Things need to be diales.
But it throws day staff a major bone and it really keeps things fun and keeps you on your toes as an operator.
.Northstar had a team of 3 on swing shift mom to fri. 1 operator 2 hand crew. Their only job was to set features. They did it a mix kinda the old school way. Cat assisted but mostly hand work.
Dumb cause some of the guys that got that gig were hella slow. 1 guy set 2 schmedium features in a whole night, and one sucked and had to be fixed next night.
I got to set maybe 1 rail there ever.
Idk i def dig having the freedom. It can be full on balls to the wall sometimes but its chill.

That sounds like a good gig as an operator being able to have the freedom to do what you want. Also eliminates the disconnect between the person that wants a feature and the guy actually building it.
I do hate when urban style lips are cat built/maintained. They always seem to ride awkward imo.
