Seems you got lucky and just the heel pulled out. Mine ripped some laminate layers and KO’d the ski entirely. Quite a shame considering I’d only skied them 20-25 days so far. That being said, I’ve had about two dozen pairs of liberties over the years and have never had a single failure, so I’ll chalk it up to bad luck. Hopefully I at least filled my quota for the year.
