Growing up in southeast we heard all about the whale harvesting but I never got to see any of it since it didn't happen down there.

Owning a tesla isnt really good for the enviorenment tho... Manufacturing 1 Tesla is about as much emmisions as driving a diesel carfor 33 000 swedish mil (1 mil is 10km) (1 american mile is 1.6km.) Type shit.

Yea I'm saying that's just generally the viewport of Tesla owners I've come into contact with. I don't personally feel that way.
i think the *potential* for electric cars to be more environmentally friendly in the long run is huge. look how far we’ve come in 100 years of car manufacturing. in 100 more years who knows what the cars will look like. i think part of the appeal of teslas/rivian/etc is being an early adopter of technology we know only stands to advance. (yes electric cars have been around for decades but the industry is just now starting to boom and only electric cars is a new business model for a large manufacture) also the instant torque and technology within the cab/experience is definitely appealing.
to me the biggest draw back to tesla is that elon is too egotistical and opinionated therefore by owning a tesla you can be wrongly affiliated with his antics.

Honestly public service cars like that that can be rotated and charged at a central location are an extremely good use case for electric. Same with busses, garbage trucks etc
Ive thought the same about construction fleets and the 150 lightning.
