Not sure if they’re legit but found some petroglyphs when we wandering like a mile out from our campsite 30ish min north of moab. Anyone know if they’re real or not? We were pretty secluded from any type of designated campgrounds, roads or hiking trails or anything but still not sure how rare it is to come across these. I have more pics if anyone wants to verify these.
- it was ~45 degrees at the summit before, it dropped to ~30 w/ windchill during totality
- the birds stopped chirping
- the soft spring snow became icy again for about half an hour after, this caused some boilerplate, but also helped stop us from sinking into the slush at Burkes notoriously flat base area
Overall, today was a real gift
