This thing has been sitting in front of our shop for a few weeks. Needed a lit of work, was a psin in the balls. Really dove into it end of yesterday and today and got it done painted and moved. Felt good to get it finished and out of the way.
Flow from the creek is undercutting the right bank pretty substantially, the next downstream culvert inlet became blocked with sediment during the last rain event and has been in overflow the last few days, currently waiting on a permit to go out and excavate that section. We are setting up some control points tomorrow to keep an eye on the erosion of this section in the photo, if there is any further significant erosion it’s highly that the trees will become compromised, which is a hazard to the overhead power and the adjacent roadway.
Shit I’ll probably just copy and paste this into an email and send it to my boss in the morning, save myself some effort😎
If ns is still around in a while we're gonna be those guys in the post Whats on your mind, rant about whatever kinda threads with the 8 years mark under there post.

larilinesignRoad rash day 3 after longboarding in a sexy Halloween costume
That probably hurt like a motherfucker, but doesn’t look infected yet, maybe left just enough skin. I did one of those on my arm, didn’t even look as bad as yours but ended up with a blood infection from the wound got insanely sick a week or so after bailing. Longboarding sucks ass sometimes I got over my death wish a few years ago I am good now. 😎

It didn't really hurt the first day cuz I was just jacked on adrenaline, but it hurt on the second. Been changing the dressing every day, so it doesn't really hurt anymore.
Another 3 days of burn cream, nonstick pads, surgical pads, gauze pads, rolled gauze, and tape until it stops oozing. Then I'll just keep a Tegadern patch on it for a week.

That road rash infection sounds brutal.
I just had no idea how to treat it I did everything wrong. Live and learn 🤷♂️

0sumProbably mostly stuff like river/costal management or risk assessments. (Guessing this is what @Casey does?)
I am an engineering tech so I don’t hold a license but yeah basically the city I work for has about 20 streams and 400 odd miles of public stormwater pipe so it’s a lot of figuring out how to manage where the natural system meets the roadway and then back again.
Profahoben_212Not sure tbh. But yeah they've been going up like crazy. I remember them around that mark when I was in undergrad.
Buuut it means I can ski more than once a week so oh well
Yeah true. Just looked at the unlimited. 530, not terrible but def up. Also access to the barn is monthly and 140. I couldn't never take advantage of night pass because i worked grave. Almost got the season pass with the barn pass but I lived in KB and it was just too far to make it enough.
Woulda been sick though. I did have a DP pass my last year and that had 4 tickets for boreal. Unfortunately I saved em up for spring lol and got rona'd.
Boreal always had a sick park though. Hope it's a good season for tahoe!
