Just when I thought spinning on and off rails was kinda slowing down except in comps I see this on IG today. And it’s fucked

mans posted this thread like hehehe I know weastcoat will shit on this, this dudes got no style and spins a ton and is rather generic and that’s EXACTLY what he’s going to say and he’s gonna make the point that skiing shouldn’t move in this direction. and he’s going to get DOWNVOTED SO HARD hehehe

yea na i knew you weren’t just that if another skier went and did it, such as adrenal ravioli, there would be much more commotion whereas it’s kinda taisei’s thing

Popular films lately have had less spinning and more style or steez to it. And I think we even saw it in the content coming outta hood this year. People weren’t always tryna 4 or 6 onto a rail or even out. Lots of smoother smaller rotations on and off rails and same on jumps. I think people that aren’t competing are more focused on what they think looks good or smooth or stylish or is fun to do. Rather Than chuck the biggest most difficult thing they can.

Zootspace is a prime example. incrediblely popular video with no rotations above 450 I'm pretty sure
