What state has the best legal weed?

Title says it all. Who has the best overall quality and value cannabis in the US; Canucks feel free to chime in about your provinces too.

Just curious everyone's thoughts. It's absolutely mind numbing to see the travesty that is Ohio's medical program. Their shit is overpriced, poorly cured, machine trim garbage. People who have no clue about cannabis think the shit here is fire and I chuckle everytime I see their reddit posts. Smh.

For reference on cost, I bought an ounce, 2-500mg carts, and some edibles in California for around $200. In Ohio I'd be looking at close to $600+ for drastically lower quality. Our medical prices are higher than rec prices. Da fuq.

Edit: I said legal weed cuz obviously that homegrown shit is probably gonna be fire and your dealers are non-uniform and can't be extrapolated or replicated.

I’ll just say that Oregon weed is by far among the best right there with Humboldt harvested buds (which lets be honest them mountains have a lot in common with our southern mountains where Most of our best weed is harvested)

If you ever get the chance though try Central Oregon’s bud I have heard positive reviews across the board..

Now, Unfortunately I cannot say the same for Washington buds

Oregon beats out CA and NV in my experience. The regulations are way more lax, so the cost is lower.

Best is representatives that campaign on tough on crime vibes, lock people up for weed, and then change their deeply held more beliefs for money. I wish very bad things on those people.

Our politics on the war on drugs are a dumpster fire at best. Any piece of shit that was cool with putting people in jail for friggin weed and flip flops for profits should have some terrible shit happen to them.

I'd say probably CO, OR, or WA

If it's a deeply held moral belief I think you're a fucking idiot and I hate you, but I can understand it. If your moral belief is easily compromised by a little bit of money you are the scum of the earth and deserve the worst aspects of it.

I'd respect idiots that are programmed by their TV's or party lines more because at least they loosely have some conviction.

Eastern Washington has some really good weed for cheap. Seattle is played out but Spokane always kind of flew under the radar on the legal cannabis scene.

100% on point. The drug war is ridiculous and the DEA is by far the most useless department. Local cops busting people for 1/2g of pot in their possession can fuck off too. They are a drop in the barrel other than ruining lives. Yeah its people's choice but also if we are talking weed, which is a fucking plant, then anyone who disagrees can get fucked. If it isn't negatively impacting society and isn't negatively impacting your job then who fucking cares.

I am just happy that states are legalizing it! When I started smoking it, buying it legally was not even imaginable. My friends and I would joke about it but here it is, you can walk in, pick your strain, walk out and go smoke. You can even order it on your phone and go pick it up! May every state make it legal and let everyone enjoy.
My vote is WA and OR, I lived in Vancouver, WA and could access both states very easily and it was cool to witness stores opening up. Prices vary but so do strains.

I still need to try that west coast shit. but between CO weed and Michigan weed I would honestly have to say that Yooper shit takes the cake. Colorado weed is good, but its expensive as hell and kinda over hyped. I can get a $25 8th from a dispensary up here and a 100mg pack of edibles for literally 10-15. Plus like that shit burns, my usual spot I hit is local based and the shit I get is fucking WET, no crunchy weed here, its fresh as fuck

Obviously I have to vote for Oregon. Check it out and you might agree that we have the best of a lot of agricultural products. For example our strawberries are way sweeter and more delicious than the California varieties. California strawberries are white in the middle while the Oregon berries are bright red all the way through

I was drunk and felt like ranting but yeah agreed. Also i hate how people act as though pridon is a good treatment for harder drugs. Like sure they might be sober but prison is just adding trauma to peoplel who likely already have some issues. Not to mention how arrests for drugs in general and having spent any time in prison looks to a perspective employer.

It's all that rain you guys got up there. The best fruits, veg, and weed in CA is grown near the coast and in the north part of the state. That's basically the climate of western Oregon. The hot irrigated inland of CA needs pesticides and machines to make good produce

I buy weed from the darknet, and after buying from hundreds and hundreds of vendors I favor Oregon weed

CO weed is too fucking dry. California is full of jabronis who will never send you their good shit. All my best came from OR

I've been pretty happy with the quality of flower I've got from MT dispensaries and so far there hasn't been too much of a drop off in quality since recreational sales have started and I was blown away with how easy it was to get a med card which I am now especially thankful for due to the lower prices. I've got some seriously impressive flower from CO, like the kind of stuff that makes your fingertips sticky and clogs your grinder and you can watch the crystals melt as you heat it up. The edibles at the dispensary I frequent the most can be a little inconsistent, like I bought a 500mg bottle of tincture, but the dropper doesn't even have graduated marks on it so dosage is a lil tricky, I get these mints that are like altoids but the thickness of each mint varies a lot in a pack. The edibles I've got in CO and WA seem to have been a lot more consistent in dosage and packaging but I'm kinda nitpicking a lil bit.

You can’t go to the places everyone else and tourist go to in CO. Place down the street from me has special: two 100mg edible chocolate bars for $14, among others. I’m not a big cannabis user so I’m not as knowledgeable but there are deals

when I was younger there was a dealer selling out of his own pizza shop, $60 1/8s all day, no breaks, would charge ya $480 for an oz

Lmao, there’s still people around here paying 300+, some dealers are really shitty, if I was poor and dealing I could probably become a millionaire in under a year shits ridiculous

yea but seriously i can't get behind paying 60$+ for dispensary weed when I can get perfectly good bud from local people who don't charge me tax on it. I get if you don't know people who sell i suppose. But $30-$40 and eighth is better than paying the government more money so it can continue to overspend.
