this dude's whole channel is him buying more and more gear for no reason, then flexing it. He has like 4 different pairs of full tilts for like every type of skiing possible but bro can barely slide a rail. You guys should watch a few videos on his channel and you'll know what I mean. I try my best not to hate on people who enjoy the sport but this guy is different. I really don't like him.

I’ve been following this dude for a few months now and I have to stand with him and show some support. I appreciate his stoke and his content is fun. To be honest I’m impressed by his talent. He’s only been skiing for a minute really. Also gotta say that the YouTube model is fairly established. The more new stuff unboxing content the better for your viewership. You may not love it but no one is making you watch it. Don’t know really if he’s on NS or not but if he is - much love from me.

If you like getting dunked on after posting stuff then I promise you, you’re a small, small minority. Most normal people take “criticism” like that as an insult. Read what you said initially again and tell me what’s constructive about that. Instead of apologizing you’re just making a weird excuse, like it’s fine to be edgy and annoying but instead of owning it you’re trying to make this really elaborate excuse lol

He’s not the kind of person I hang with, but after watching a few of his vids he’s harmless and heck.. at least someone’s putting out ski content.

yes he doesn’t need his million full tilts / skis, but there’s plenty of people who fashion vlog and are spending thousands on the most useless shit like supreme constantly and nobody bats an eye.

He wants ski drip and has the money to create these outfits / try new skis. He will eventually use all his stuff and if he doesn’t run it all to the ground, then at some point it’ll probably end up on the second hand market with one of us fools coppin for a dope deal.

The point I was trying to get at is 1 vlogs are somewhat cringe in the first place (just speaking for the majority here but that point is subjective anyway) and 2 it’s kinda dumb to put a subtitle in your video stating how you got up and did the trick again after eating shit and including audio of where your filmer goes “oOh I hOpE hE’s OkAy”. Like that’s the constructive criticism right there ^^ lol.

Literally has nothing to do with the homie’s skiing. He’s actually not bad and looks like he’s picking it up quick which is sick.

but maybe I don’t know ANYTHING about decent/proper editing and this is all just bullshit. Your call NS!!

14 y/o orange county chick living on newport beach manse gets a camera and somehow points it at herself (probaly had help). Pink highlights sprarkles everywhere accessories bandanas weaves screaming at the top of her lungs with lots of furtive movements. sugary sweet tone sounds like a mix of baby talk and valley girl and says "HEY GUYS SPAwKLES HERE WELCOME BACK LETS CHECK OUT THIS GwEAT THING THE INTEwNET IS wAVING ABOUT"

Above gets 5 million followers and millions of hits for each sacharine caramel coated vlog.
Someone who actually built something get 2 hits. (one hit was me, howtos are my thing ususally)

I wish I had not reposted his vid in the cringe thread. Ya it made me cringe but making a thread is a bit too much. Being bullied by the older ski kids at my local hill was whack as fuck and I decided around 13-14 that wouldn’t be me when I was older. I was mostly annoyed with the secretly filming people thing but that’s something we could just politely educate him on. If I met this dude I’d 100% stoke him up on the skiing and call him out for the stupid shit. We need a small amount of gate keeping but it has to be done in the right way, don’t straight up bully people.

Yeah same, I actually subbed to the guy. I honestly don't understand why people would hate on him, seeing other people as passionate about skiing as I am is actually refreshing. It's not a competition about what gear you own, and seeing other people who have the gear you think are too "good" for them is just stemming from jealousy.

I agree 100%. The dude is new to the sport and has money so he buys a bunch of different gear because he can and he is stoked on it. Every dollar he spends keeps these companies going so why hate? Yeah he puts it in YT but fuck it why not? I cant believe people here get so butthurt about some dude going skiing and filming himself and his buddies and having fun. Its not like he is really flexing to be an ass, he is just excited about what he is doing.

I THINK IT MAKES A GOOD EDIT TO SHOW THAT NOT ALL THE SHOTS CAME EASY. What I didn’t like was that he put a caption up saying “I GOT UP AND DID IT AGAIN ANYWAY”. like we already know that and respect your perseverance.

Im just stoked he bothered to actually make an edit instead of dumping his shit on instagram. Maybe Im old but back in the day this is what most amateur edits looked like before everyone had access to GoPro with stabilizers and stuff.

Not going to lie though this clip makes me pissed off. Im pissed off Im not up there screwing around on rails right now, looks fun as hell.

Me lol. Which is why I’ve thought about deleting the edit but the homies wouldn’t be too happy about it.


I know I’m being an absolute cock about it and this goes for everyone in the thread but I am not shitting on this mans skiing ability AT ALL. Some of his editing stuff just irked me.


Do I think he’s a bad guy for it? No! He seems cool and fun to ski with. I’m just super picky in the way people edit stuff which seems like it’s a flaw of mine but whatever. And he’s obviously new to the sport so he doesn’t know what’s “proper” or “common” for edits yet. Could I have called him out in a more respectful way? Forsure! Ngl I WAS a dick about it but I’m not a fan of sugarcoating.

For the record to everyone as well, as you said in another thread, Dan, which was something that really resonated with me these past couple days which is when I first read it…

Anyone on NS you can ask anyone I ride with for verification if you like, but this little phrase here is exactly why I treat little 11 year old kids at the hill getting into the scene the same way I treat big dogs who are the “best” riders on the hill. I love stoking up the younger generation, there’s never a time I ride into the park and I don’t say hey what up homie whether that be I’m riding with myself or i’m with a big group of people. Hell I’ll even film for some of these kids anytime they ask me. And I can tell they get stoked on it.

why do I do all this? Cause there was a select few big dogs at the park who treated me this way and it made me feel insanely accepted into the scene, and now that I may be one of those “big dogs” (yeah cringe term Ik) I wanna do the same thing for those kids, and then some.

the point I’m trying to get at is if you want your crop to grow (the younger/up and coming/ newer generation of park riders, whether that be young or old) you’ve gotta nurture it as much as possible. Even if it’s with a little “tough love”. Was what I said “tough love”? No, but you get my point.

To avoid hypocrisy I’m glad you guys called ME out for me being improper or cringe just the way I tried to do on this homie’s edit. Makes me re-shape my thinking a little bit.
