Forrmula vs Take 3

NS, answer me this. the thread for Take 3 has 3x as many responses as the thread for forrmula. subjetively, forrmula is noticeably better than take three. was forrmula just so good that theres no room discussion, or is ns straight up not core enough to go buy forrmula and talk about it?

P.S. Take 3 was pretty insane, no disrespect, but forrmula was something else entirely.

I think it’s that most people aren’t willing to buy forrmula. I personally didn’t but it’s because I got the privilege to see it in person. I do think forrmula is better tho. The level of skiing in take 3 just doesn’t compare to forre. Both are fantastic tho. When it comes to films rewatch value plays a big role and take 3 100% has that. I’ve watched it 4 times already.

Forrmula had more bangers and better production but something about child labor edits just hits home idk take 3 is more rewatchable IMO

Totally fair. For me forrmula is one of the most rewatchable films I’ve seen, I still can’t stop smiling when I’m watching it

I liked forrmula more imo, little shorter but straight bangers. Wish take 3 had name cards in the vid, kinda hard to keep track of everything when you aren’t familiar with the crew and all kinda blends together in my head, trying to think back nothing really stands out, whereas forrmula I’m immediately like “damn harald fucked that shit up and mainio’s ender was dope”

It's not a competition with one movie versus another, or one crew against another. I'm sure forre and child labor don't view it in that way. They're both great videos

All jokes aside, Forrmula was sick bc there were so many technical tricks that came out so clean and the cinematography was by far more professional. Take 3 had more mellow but steezy tricks, and it’s more of a home movie vibe.

But fr this is like comparing apples to oranges. Both movies were sick in their own ways, now go back to rewatching them over and over.

I personally liked forrmula better, but let's be real here. in 2021 there are only 2 types of ski movies now:

- ones that are sponsored by arsenic
- ones that aren't sponsored by arsenic

and all of the ones sponsored by arsenic are dope

Not really comparable in my opinion. I think formula seems more polished and precise with the editing and execution of the skiing and loved every second of it but tbh what I enjoy the most is the rawness and the shots and how messy take 3 is that’s the style I usually prefer. Also really liking the music in take 3

Been watching ski movies religiously for a long time. Forrmula is one of the top street films I have ever seen.

Yo I had to buy mine twice because my link exited when I got it first . My bank account is sad too but €10 is a small contribution imo. Anyways if there’s a way where they can send a link for my first purchase then I’ll send it to you. Maybe contribute to support them with few bucks at some point in exchange.

Hey man, none of that. I’m a student on a student budget. It’s $16 NZ dollars and I literally only have $115 in my bank right now. Including savings. That’s a solid chunk gone that I need for food and rent and stuff

Take 3 was dope but didn't hold my attention near as well as Forrmula. A little too long and segments bled together too much. Don't get me wrong, it was still a super dope vid. 8/10, but Forrmula was 10/10.

Also I was mildly disappointed by the Hacker segment, but that's only because Hacker is one of my favorite songs of all time and anyone other than Jesus Christ skiing to it would probably not live up to it in my mind
