My university has an “advanced skiing” class. From what I heard you pretty much go with a guide and hit a bunch of sidecountry stuff and it counts as a credit.
easiest A ever

SendyMcSendyfaceMy school has a whole ass "Adventure Guide" program. Basically you get some guiding certs, avy courses, and your 40hr WFR. Seems pretty stupid to me, they've just taken all the regular skiing/whitewater/climbing ect. certs and combined them into a 2 year diploma that you get charged an arm and a leg for. It's basically the trust fund baby degree.

ReturnToMonkeyI took that class freshman year. It was so worth it. Basically skied with 5 other rippers and a fun old ski instructor who taught us part of the ridge of BB each Thursday. Some days I would just ski by myself/with friends until 2 pm when we met up at the base, then just kept shredding til the end. If you can't drive or get a ride, they have a bus that leaves from the SUB scheduled to work with the class.
