SavageBiffEven if it attracts them it gives us another place, would be so dope to practice year round, and will promote the building of more, I think one in Pittsburgh would do great.
CatdickBojanglesOne in Pitt would crush for sure. Century 3 has been abandoned for how long now? Seems like it could be the perfect location for one.
SavageBiffYears. Last I saw was a few months ago some medical co. was looking to buy it , too bad that place would be dope. There’s a few malls in pitt that could support it and are basically dead and about to go under.
CatdickBojanglesNOVA is the perfect place to attract super rich dentists that drop 10k on gear to ski indoor all season.
lil.Boyedps need to release an indoor ski for the indoor skiing dentists
jompcockI wish one of these would open in New England/near Boston
SavageBiffThat’s what I’m saying. I think they are desired everywhere but is it a self sustaining business? If it were mine, I would put a ski shop/boot fitter there as well as hopefully have enough store front retail to help sustain since a snowplex isn’t likely to bring in the necessary income, or maybe it is idk but if I were to get involved there would have to be more resources, charging for parking etc is out if I’m in , so retail is a good start, resteraunts etc to bring in income via realty and taxes, I’d like to keep it a mountain sports, accessories, clothing vibe, I think that type of “hub” or outlet would do well but it would be stepping into a new world for me and my partners are basically solely interested in storefront and rentals so it’s a pipe dream, not a big enough dream of mine to go in %100 and wreck myself, but if I could raise say 75%….hopefully others do it, it seems to possibly be turning into a “thing”.
skiP.E.I.There has to be some municipal/state incentives to build one for the increased trafiic to surrounding businesses and the positive public health effects of people being active.
