Armada stranger as a pure park ski

I’m looking for a new park ski, I’ve been riding my 105+ waist all mountain oriented skis in the park for the past few years and it works since I mount close to center but looking for something more dedicated to park and jibbing around groomers, side hits etc.

i want something surfey I can flex out, poppy, hold butter, presses etc.. I hit jumps but if I hit anything big, like over 50ft. It’s maybe a few days out of the season so I don’t want big jumps to decide my ski decision.

I’ll probably mount these true center too. Or any other skis I should be checking out?

I’m getting these to use as my primary park ski! I’ve talked to a few of the armada athletes and they recommend to mount these +6 from the recommended line. This ski will do everything that you’re wanting it to do plus still rip the entire mtn

The Strangers are really cool and think that could be a great setup! If you are looking for other options, it is also worth considering the Blade. @dylansiggers may or may not have his center mounted and swears by them as an all mountain directional ski that rips in the park.

Don’t mount it pure center that makes 0 sense. It’s not a full symmetrical ski and the side cut has a bias of -10. I talked to Mike Hornbeck and he mounts at the center of the camber which per his message is 2.5 inches in front of recommended which is 6.35 centimeters. I wouldn’t go further than that at all because you’ll be fighting so much sidecut it’ll be terrible.

Mount your skis however you want! I do some dumb shit with my mounting. I love it but anyone else would hate it. When in doubt just drill more holes lol

I have been running it as my primary park ski and its so dope. I run the edgeless when conditions permit, but for the most part this thing performs beyond a park ski - its a real racer ski in performance, super sturdy, is so fun to carve.

I mounted +6. It's pretty aggressive but well balanced on rails and spinning. Also switch carving is dialed.
